KIDS TENNIS LESSONS FAQS

We are specially catering this category for children between 6 and 13 years old.

For children 6-9, we will you specialized colour tennis balls appropriate for their age group. We will not limit them just because of age, if they can handle the standard tennis ball we will begin to use them.

For kids 10-13, should be able to handle the standard tennis balls as they are bigger or will get bigger soon.

The usual duration for a kid’s class is 1 hour. 

This is dependent on how old they are, what standard of tennis they are playing and what their goal is (I.E prepping for tournament / going for trials)

For children, if they are just starting out, we will focus more on fun and enjoyment so that they have a positive correlation between fun and tennis. As they progress we will lean towards teaching them how to train and how to be more disciplined. We won’t just teach tennis techniques and physical exercises, there is also the mental aspect of the game. Fun is still definitely an important portion to the lesson.

We will coach them all the basic modern techniques like:

• Forehand drive
• Backhand drive
• Volleys
• Serve
